- Designed the washer drum shaft in solidworks and created a housing for the shaft
- Performed force analysis, calculated bending moments and computed the deflections
- Determined minimum shaft diameters using fatigue failure, deflection and vibration
- Performed bearing calculations to select a bearing for shaft
