Light Painting Robot Mechanical|Software

Project Description

To have a Fanuc robot perform light painting by providing the Fanuc with a user defined path and recreate it with the led attached to it's end effector.

Tasks and Skills

  • Programmed the Fanuc robot to move in the user defined path
  • User drew path with a red glove, which was captured using image processing to get the waypoints. These waypoints were then put into the code.
  • Calcualted the inverse kinematics to move the end effector to the desired location
  • Movement of the robot was captured using long exposure
